Fitness Programming for the Workplace
Once you have completed the initial screenings and evaluations, you will be ready to implement specific programming aimed at increasing your company’s fitness. At Salus, we have 30 years of combined training and coaching experience with individuals of all ability levels. Our fitness programs are completely customized to your company’s interests.
Individual and Group Training
Individual Strength, Conditioning, and Flexibility Training
Salus offers a variety of options for strength training and conditioning. You can choose to meet with a licensed trainer for one-on-one individualized training or with a partner (or partners) for a semi-private detailed session. These private sessions are geared toward addressing your specific needs and weaknesses. The highest success rates are seen with this type of training due to 1-on-1 guidance and increased adherence.
Group Training
Salus provides group training for a wide variety of needs and individuals. We offer training for small and large groups that emphasize functional training in a fun and safe environment. Group training, if done properly, can still offer an individualized experience. At Salus, we feel in order to keep a safe and beneficial training environment, there needs to be a small trainer to client ratio. This provides proper supervision in relation to technique and execution of exercises. By doing this, we minimize injury and maximize the physiological benefit for each individual. Group training can be held at Salus (class size limitations are required), at the workplace, or venue of choice.
Coaching
Athletic Training for the Everyday Person
Our coaching programs are both innovative and scientifically-based, and are the first of its kind offered to the “non-athletic” individual and corporations. Feedback and programming that used to be reserved only for the elite and competitive athlete is now available for the individual looking for a healthier way of life. Salus offers a broad array of coaching services built on a feedback-centered platform. Plans utilize an internet-based interface allowing the client to access their plans and track progress anywhere. There are two general coaching options:
1) Prearranged programs that cover beginning to advanced capabilities and focus on nutrition and a wide variety of exercise modalities. These programs are designed by Salus staff, are 13 weeks in length, and include a detailed feedback approach.
2) Tailored coaching is modified as the client progresses. It is suited for a range of individuals from those looking to increase overall health, to the individual looking to be competitive in a 5K running race and beyond.
Lifestyle Coaching
We provide you with wellness tips and lifestyle modification techniques ranging from grocery store tours to financial planning seminars. There is no limit to the lifestyle programming we can provide to your company.
