Salus Schlitz Park Corporate Challenge 5K Run/Walk
The 2013 Salus Schlitz Park Corporate Challenge 5K Run & Walk presented by Good Harvest Market Organic Foods, is designed to promote employee health and wellness by creating an event that provides competition and camaraderie along with wellness education and resources. This 5K Run & Walk will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2013 in downtown Milwaukee, with the race start & finish line, FREE finish line riverfront dinner, and after race Wellness Expo being held at Schlitz Park. Event proceeds will benefit Milwaukee RiverKeeper.

The Salus Schlitz Park Corporate Challenge, the only corporate focused run & walk in Wisconsin is designed to help companies foster healthy lifestyle choices and a commitment to wellness, all while participating in a fun and exciting competition. All fitness levels and abilities are welcome to participate in the walk, run, or (new this year!) individuals can register to participate as an event volunteer and help out for the evening.

For your organization to participate as a scored 5K Run team, your participants must register themselves for at least one of the following (it is NOT required that you form 1 complete team):
  • 5K Run Men’s Team (consisting of 4 or more male coworkers)
  • 5K Run Women’s Team (consisting of 4 or more female coworkers)
  • 5K Run Mixed Team (consisting of 2 or more male coworkers AND 2 or more female coworkers)
While a minimum of 4 coworkers is required for a scored 5K Run team, there is no maximum limit to the number of participants per team!
Awards will be presented to the following:
  • Company (Small, Medium and Large*) with the highest percentage of participation on Race Day
  • Company with the greatest overall number of participants on Race Day
  • Fastest Team (Men’s, Women’s and Mixed)
  • Fastest Finisher (Male and Female)
  • Fastest C-Level Finisher (Male and Female)
  • Fastest Masters Level Finisher (Male and Female)
